Some points of interest over the holiday period:
- In figures released by Paymark, a new record has been set for Christmas Eve shopping with 4.2 million Eftpos transactions totalling $226 million processed on Thursday 24th.
- Between midday and 1pm on December 24th, Paymark was handling 131 transactions per second.
